We have created an environment for survivors to participate in a variety of healing activities, gain support through groups, and form friendships with others who share our common experiences. It is our hope you find this a welcoming, inspiring, and creative healing space!
Our regular programming is open to all survivors of childhood sexual abuse who identify as women. Some special events and presentations are also open to survivors of childhood sexual abuse who identify as men. On occasion activities are open to survivors and non-survivors alike. All offerings are announced accordingly.
We ask everyone to contribute to making the space a safe and confidential atmosphere for all survivors of incest and childhood sexual abuse by being self-aware, respectful of boundaries and the boundaries of others, and through taking personal responsibility for one’s own healing.
Please recognize and respect that we all come from many different races, cultures, religions, sexual orientations and backgrounds. While there are many similar experiences or commonalities, our lived experiences will vary. Treating others how we wish to be treated is a good rule of thumb.
Please be mindful of others that may be engaged in an activity or workshop at any given time. We ask participants to be cognizant and self-monitor volume so that everyone can enjoy the space.
In order to have all visitors be as courteous to others as possible, we request that phone usage be limited to discreet silent texting if you must, but that all phone calls be made/taken outside the space. During groups and workshops, for participants to be as fully present as possible, all phones must be turned off and put away, and texting is not permitted.
We wish to maintain good relationships with our neighbors and expect quiet and appropriate behavior at all times within our space, public hallways, entrances, shared bathroom and other common areas.
Because some participants have allergies, we do not allow fish or nuts. Because some participants have chemical sensitivities to strong scents, we ask everyone to be fragrance free.
